This procedure is LASIK in its most advanced form. It has been, and continues to be one of the most popular procedures done by laser in North America. Dr. Bense has been performing the iLASIK procedure since 2007 with precision and accuracy, helping many patients to be able to see again without vision aids.
This procedure combines our iLASIK procedure with Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking (KXL), a procedure used to strengthen a weakened cornea.
The iDesign Advanced WaveScan Studio aberrometer is a next-generation tool for mapping and analyzing the cornea. This is done by constructing and individual ocular blueprint for each patient, allowing for the highest degree of accuracy during your LASIK procedure.
Our iDesign aberrometer is one of only a handful currently available in North America, and we’re pleased to be able to offer this incredible piece of technology to our patients in St. John’s.
